Betwixt pale leaves, a young crone gazes –
Mauve eyes ablaze through untamed hair;
“Magic is real” – a whisper she sings you,
How could you not –
Believe a maiden so fair?
“Our minds are far from perfection”
Hers in fact, fragmented and scarred –
“Yet true beauty does not come with completion,
Instead – it’s the flaws –
That embellish our hearts.”
