I’m drowning in potential –
Yet empowered by the fear;
The twisted sickness that festers
Whenever my future draws near
Propels me in some direction –
Is it forward?
Or will I forever linger
Drifting sideways –
Never quite as good
As I could be.

I have been captured by this thought time and time again; how easily we start to drift off course without realizing it instead of putting one foot intentionally in front of the other and pursuing our desires! Love how the paint strokes in the artwork reflect the idea of lines and intentions to me too. 🙂
